Sunwood Brand Guidelines
We created these guidelines so that you’ll know how you can, and cannot, display our Brand Elements.
Keep in mind that the Sunwood brand is constantly evolving. This means that it’s possible we’ll modify these brand guidelines every now and then. We’ll make sure to keep this page updated with the latest guidelines. Since we won’t give you any individual notice about these new guidelines, it is important you check this site regularly to ensure you’re using our Sunwood Brand Elements correctly.
Sunwood owns trademark rights in Europe. The Sunwood Trademark, the Sunwood corporate identity, any word, phrase, image or other designation that identifies the source of origin of any of Sunwood’ products are referred to as the Sunwood “Brand Elements”.
Using the Sunwood Logo
Do:
- Only use the official Sunwood logo.
- Maintain original proportions and preserve plenty of white space around the Sunwood logo.
- Use the Sunwood logo to show you are one of our trusted distributors or resellers.
Don’t:
- Modify or re-create the Sunwood logo in any way; such as changing colours or adding additional elements to the design.
- Display the Sunwood logo larger than your own marks or branding.
- Alter the Sunwood logo in any way. Such as changing its colours or adding elements to the design.
- Use the Sunwood logo to refer to any product other than Sunwood.
- Incorporate the Sunwood logo in your company’s identity.
- Use the Sunwood logo alone in your communication.
- Use the Sunwood logo in a way where Sunwood is a part of your company or that your company is part of Sunwood.
- Do not place the Sunwood logo on a visually cluttered or patterned background.
Taglines
The Sunwood logo has three different taglines: Dutch Design, Official Distributor and Official Reseller. It is important you use the right tagline based on your relationship with Sunwood.
What taglines do I use?
- Dutch Design: Only Sunwood is allowed to use the logo with the Dutch Design tagline.
- Official Distributor: Only officially appointed distributors are allowed to use the logo with this tagline.
- Official Reseller: Only officially appointed resellers are allowed to use the logo with this tagline.
White space
In order to display the Sunwood logo clearly, it is important that there are no other elements infringing on its space. The minimum white space around the Sunwood logo should be equivalent to the height of the Sunwood letters.
Minimum size
To maintain the legibility of the Sunwood logo, a minimum size applies for print and digital applications.
Colour
The Sunwood logo shall be used in orange, white or black and should always contrast with the background to ensure legibility.
