Additional safety and maintenance instructions

The use of our appliances in enclosed areas is DANGEROUS and PROHIBITED. They can only be used outdoors.

If applicable: check the rubber gas seal ring before use, and replace the rubber ring if it shows signs of deterioration. It shall be exchanged for a new rubber gas seal ring of equivalent quality and in accordance with the regulations in force.

* Germany: The rubber gas seal ring is stored in the gas cylinder.

Check the flexible hose at least once a month and while changing the gas cylinder. If it shows signs of cracking, splitting or other deterioration it shall be exchanged for a new hose of the same length and of equivalent quality.

The flexible hose has to be replaced by a new hose (from 40 to 50cm) according EN 16436 every 2 years.

The pressure regulator has to be replaced by a new regulator  according EN 16129 every 2 years.

Before use check all the connections on signs of leakage. Do this by using gas leaking spray on the gas fittings and connections. There is a leak if air bubbles appear as result of the gas leaking spray. 

In the event of gas leakage, the appliance shall not be used or if alight, the gas supply shall be shut off and the appliance shall be investigated and rectified before it is used again.
